Tarot Classic app for iPhone and iPad
The 1909 tarot deck by Pamela Colman Smith and Arthur Edward Waite is the most commonly used in the English-speaking world for divination and reflection. It includes many elements of the tarot of Marseilles, which dates back to the early 1700s, and whose origins are lost in time. It is an important part of the Western spiritual heritage.
The card meanings given are not verbose but to the point. They can easily be adapted to individual situations. Reversed cards come with different explanations, but let the user straighten the cards to see the positive meanings. Let the cards speak to you, simple and clear.
This version allows sending results by e-mail. It offers six different spreads.
Pros and cons of Tarot Classic app for iPhone and iPad
Tarot Classic app good for
My only complaint is that the card meanings could be a bit more in depth. Otherwise its quick and easy to use.
Have tried several tarot apps, so far this is the best! Simple description, great layouts and email function is nice too. Totally love it!
Some bad moments
I purchased this app only to find out they dont give any support for it and havent tried to fix the obvious problems it has. It gives and shows mismatched meanings for the cards. Reversed cards are given normal meanings and regular right side up cards are given reversed meanings. Havent responded to their web page support. Not worth the money.
I paid to download this and its not even ready. Its poorly designed. For one, there is no browse function to examine every single Tarot card where you can click on each one and it flips over to give you the meaning description. There is no shuffle button either. It just flips it over on its own. I paid for this only to use it for sixty seconds and then delete it.
The app will only allow you to email the one card reading... No others. You cannot save the reading and in order to start a new reading you have to close out the app completely and start over. Waste of money! Dont buy, mush better apps on the market.
